Couples Therapy
Couples therapy, or "relational therapy" is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on helping people improve their romantic relationships. Relational therapy is often used to address problems, but it can be beneficial at any stage! People in healthy, happy relationships can still benefit from counseling to help strengthen communication and connecton.

On average, couples wait 6 years before they engage in therapy, but relationships can benefit much sooner.
Some signs your relationship may benefit from relational therapy:

-
You have trouble expressing your feelings to one another
-
You have one or more unsolvable disagreement
-
There is withdrawal, criticism, or contempt in your interactions
-
A stressful event has shaken your daily life
-
You have trouble making decisions together
-
You have experienced infidelity, addiction, or abuse
-
You want a stronger relationship

We also offer premarital counseling for those who are looking to build a strong foundation before commitment!

Relational therapy isn't just for married people! Cohabitating couples, non-monogamous relationships, and LGBTQ+ relationships can also benefit from relational therapy. It can also be helpful for siblings dealing with family issues, or even business partners!
